Wood and Color Characteristics
Natural woods may vary in texture, color and wood grain pattern, exhibit subtle changes as they age. For example, wood joints may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area and cabinet colors may darken or lighten over times. Sunlight, smoke, moisture, household cleaners and the environmental conditions may cause wood and color to vary from their original color and/or to warp, split or crack. These variations are considered to be the nature characteristics of the material in relation to their environmental exposure. There for the natural wood color match to original color are not guaranteed. These variations are considered to be the nature of the material in relation to their environmental exposure and are not covered under this warranty.
Color Finished
Natural, stained and painted finishes offer color contrast and natural sculpting in their wood grain. All painted finishes products may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area. This grain and tonal diversity reduces capacity for the naked eye to pick-up on small surface cracks, and can doubly reduce visibility of scuff marks, scratches, and dents that occur as you live in your home. Slight surface cracking is more noticeable with light opaque finishes like paint. When considering painted finishes for cabinetry, versus natural or stained or painted finishes, please consider this aesthetic element. This warranty shall not apply to cabinetry ordered unfinished.
Doors and Panels
All doors less than 23 7/8" wide and 49 7/8" high will be warranted if warp or twist is greater than 1/4". All doors over 23 7/8" wide and 49 7/8" high is not guaranteed. This warrants applies to all door styles and appliance doors panels. Typically, the door will return to its normal flat position after conditioning to its environment. Prior to requesting a replacement, please be sure that the problem is not an installation deficiency.
Hardware and Accessory
Hinges, drawer slide and accessories are covered with limited lifetime manufacturer warranty. This warrants to repair or replacement to operate satisfactory under normal use.
Cabinet Maintenance
Cabinet just like fine furniture, should be dusted or vacuumed periodically depending on the amount of particulate matter that may have accumulated. Always dust with a polish-moistened or damp cloth, as dry dusting may scratch the surface. It is also a good practice to follow the grain of wood when dusting - wiping across the grain could cause scratches to appear if the dust contains grit.
Use a clean cloth dampened with a solution of mild dish soap and water to remove oil, grease, or daily spills. Do not use your dishcloth to clean the cabinets as it may contain remnants of other detergents that could harm the finish. Avoid using harsh cleaners, commercial cleaners, or abrasives as they will harm and dull your finish.
Cabinetry around the sink and dishwasher areas are most susceptible to excessive moisture. Immediately dry any area where water has spilled. Avoid draping your dishtowels over doors or placing coffee makers where steam vents directly onto the cabinet surface.
